Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer
Richard is the Chairman and Co-CEO of Bluedog Capital Partners. He has extensive experience with all forms of real estate investing including hospitality, multifamily, and self-storage. Richard began his career in 1980 as a tax and securities attorney in Boston, MA working with closely-held family companies and private real estate sponsors. He has cultivated a substantial 40-year history in the world of real estate development and acquisitions. Prior to establishing Bluedog, Richard worked on numerous multifamily, hospitality and land development ventures with national firms such as Procaccianti Companies, Axis Realty Partners and Advenir, Inc.
For over 20 years, Richard has spearheaded the growth of Bluedog’s Equity Platform, which consists of strategic development and value-add investments across a multitude of platforms. Under his leadership, the company has grown to become one of the most respected privately owned real estate investment and development organizations along the Eastern United States.
Richard is a member of the Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Florida Bar Associations and serves as Chairman of Bluedog’s Executive Committee. His hands-on approach, unique problem-solving skill set and positive attitude has been instrumental in the sustained and continued growth of Bluedog over the last two decades.
